Cricket Formats
From the begging of the cricket until now have three types of formats.
Test Match Cricket
One Day International Cricket(ODI)
Twenty 20 cricket (T20)
Test Match Cricket:
First ever cricket format was the Test match cricket known as the Real test of the cricket. A five (5) days cricket and two-inning per side. The very first official Test match was played on 15 to 19 March 1877 between Australia and England at Melbourn cricket ground(MCC) where England lost to Australia by 45 runs.
One Day International Cricket(ODI):
The first One Day International Cricket (ODI) is known as limited overs cricket. first ODI cricket match was also hosted by Melbourn Cricket Ground(MCC) in 1971 between Australia and England Where three-day cricket match was washed out and officially decided to play Forty(40) and Eight(80) ball over each side. Australia win by 5 wickets. nowadays ODI cricket consists of fifty(50) over and six (6) balls per over.
