Ab De Villiers Cricket

Abraham Benjamin de Villiers is known as AB de Villiers played for South Africa cricket team in Test, ODI, and T20is. He began his international career as a wicket-keeper batsman but in most of his career, he played as a batsman. He holds the record various world record. He made his test debut in 2004 against England while in ODIs he made his debut in 2005 and in T20s in 2006.he has scored 20,014 runs in international cricket he was the modern day batsman attack the bowlers. He has the ability to play unorthodox shots over slips and wicket-keeper. He is known as a 360-degree batsman. He captained the South African cricket team in all formats of cricket. He stepped down from captaincy in test format. He continued captaincy in limited over. After ICC Champions Trophy he stepped down from limited overs formats as well. In May 2018 he took retirement from all forms cricket.     
AB made an impressive debut in test match while batting on the top of the order opening the batting for his team he did well in the first match but in the second match he dropped down the order he made match-saving fifty. He scored 178 runs in an inning on the Caribbean tour.
In ODIs he started his career as an opener he scored 92 not out later in his career he batted in the middle order. He has a very good reputation as a fielder. He was nominated as ICC cricketer and ICC Test player of the year in 2009.

In 2007 he was selected for world cup he was not in good form earlier in the tournament although he scored a fifty he made 92 runs against Australia but in the second round he scored his maiden ODI hundred he made 146 runs. He doesn’t have a very good world cup.
In 2008 AB was in his career-best form he gained attention became the first South African to score a double century against India. He also made 174 runs against England in the first innings and 97 in the second inning. In the Perth test, AB scored a hundred which helps South Africa chase down a big target of 414.  In ODI he scored 82 not out and he was named a man of the match.
AB scored two successive centuries in the 2011 World Cup. He became the first South African to score two centuries in a single World Cup and the fifth batsman He also became the 16th batsman to score two or more centuries in one World Cup tournament. AB de Villiers' strike rate of 136.73 is the highest among South African batsmen who have scored centuries in World Cup matches. With his third player of the match award in World Cups, De Villiers is joint second with Jacques Kallis on the list of South African players with most match awards in World Cups.   
On 18 January 2015, De Villiers scored the fastest century by a batsman in One Day International cricket, off 31 balls. De Villiers was one of the top performers at the 2015 Cricket World Cup scoring 482 runs at an average of 96.0 and strike rate of 144.0 during the tournament. South Africa to their second-highest total in world cup history (408) on the Sydney Cricket Ground. With this feat, he became the record holder for the fastest 50, 100 and 150 in One-Day International history.

Indian Premier League:

AB de Villiers is one of the most successful batsmen in the Indian Premier League. In the fourth season, he was contracted by Royal Challengers Bangalore for US$1.5 million. He played for the Delhi Daredevils in the previous seasons. He has been crucial to the successful batting line-up of the RCB. He has scored three IPL hundreds, two of which have come while playing for RCB.

Pakistan Super League:

On 7 September 2018, Pakistan Super League announced that de Villiers will be part of the upcoming fourth edition of PSL. he was named as one of the fourteen Platinum category players for the fourth edition of PSL he played for Lahore Qalandars and he was then made the captain after their captain Mohammad Hafeez was ruled out of PSL.
