Cricket Bat

A cricket bat consists of two parts; upper portion consists of a handle which is made of cane/wood covered with a grip and a lower portion consists of a blade which is made of willow wood. A flat striking face with a ridge on the reverse back which is concentrated wood in the middle where ball generally hit. A solid material inside the blade to prevent damage.

According to the new laws of ICC of the bat's overall length of the bat shall be 96.52 cm and the width of the bat is 10.8 cm and The blades edges must not be more than 4.0 cm while the depth of the bat must not be more than 6.7 cm.T20 format is a purely attacking shorts format in this format the blade is 33% shorter than a traditional bat and the handle is 43% longer.

Categories of the Bat:

There are there four categories A, B, C and D
Category A bat can be used at any level of cricket.
Category B, C and D bats may be used only at lower levels determined by the countries cricket Governing bodies.
