Bristol County Cricket Ground

The Bristol County cricket ground know as Nevil Road sponsored by The Brightside Ground located in Ashley Down Bristol, England.it is the home ground of Gloucestershire County cricket club established in 1889. It has the capacity of 8000 peoples in domestic while internationally it has the capacity of 17,500 peoples. It's one end name is Bristol Pavilion end while the other end us Ashley Down Road end. Bristol hosted only limited over format and the longer format yet to play here. The first ODI played here in 1983 between 
New Zealand and Sri Lanka while the first T20 played here in 2006 where England played against Pakistan.

In 1889 it is known as Ashley Down ground and bought by W.G. Grace later it was sold to J.S. Fry & Sons and renamed it to Fry’s Ground. The ground hosts One Day Internationals, usually one per year, with the addition of temporary seating to increase the ground's capacity. England is due to face India in 2018 and Pakistan in 2019 at the ground. In addition, four matches will be played at the ground as part of the 2019 Cricket World Cup.




In 2009 Gloucestershire C.C.C announced the development plan for the ground and in 2010 Bristol city council gave the permission for the redevelopment. In development includes the ground capacity to increase to 20,000 and a world-class media center and conference facilities
