Faheem Ashraf Cricket


Faheem Ashraf is an all-rounder plays for Pakistan national team. He is a right-arm fast medium bowler and a left-handed batsman. He represents Pakistan in all the formats of cricket. He made his debut for Pakistan in 2017. He was also awarded a central contract by Pakistan cricket board for the 2018-19 season. he was named for PCB's emerging player of the year.

Domestic career:

Faheem made his first-class debut for Faisalabad region in domestic cricket in 2013.  He played two seasons for Faisalabad. He also played Pakistan cup for Punjab in 2017 he was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament he took eight wickets in four matches. He played 40 first-class matches, 60 List A Matches and he played 53 T20 matches in his domestic career till now. He also represented Habib Bank limited in the 2016-17 season. He played in different leagues. He also played for Comilla Victorians in Bangladesh premium league in 2017.he also played in Pakistan super league for Islamabad United from 2018-present he plays a vital role in Islamabad united bowling line up. 



International career:

Faheem first named in the ODI squad for west indies although he didn’t get a chance to play in playing xi he remained in a squad for ICC Champions Trophy. He looked good in a warm-up match he played match winning knocked against Bangladesh. He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in Champions Trophy he took his first wicket of Dinesh Chandimal. He played 15 ODI matches up till now where he took 18 wickets with an average of 21.77 his best bowling figure is 5/22 while in batting he was not so impressive he scored only 99 runs with an average of 14.14.



Faheem played his T20 debut match for Pakistan against a world xi in independence cup in 2017. He was good with his bowling he took a hat-trick for Pakistan against Sri Lanka he is a first Pakistani bowler to take a hat-trick in T20s and he was the sixth bowler overall to take a hat-trick in a T20Is. He took 18 wickets in 23 matches with an average 19.47 while he scored only 96 with an average of 12.00 only. He is presently a part of the national team.

Faheem Ashraf made his Test debut against Ireland in 2018. He played 4 test matches for Pakistan where he could score only 123 runs with an average of 30.75 he scored only a fifty while he took only 8 wickets with best figures of 3/57 with an average of 30.62.
