Hardik Himanshu Pandya Cricket

Hardik Himanshu Pandya is an all-around cricketer plays for Indian national cricket team in all three formats of the games. He is a right-handed batsman and right arm fast-medium bowler born on 11 October 1993. He is from Surat, Gujarat, India. He was banned for five ODI matches a controversial interview on Indian national TV.

Domestic Career:

Pandya started his domestic career in 2013 for Baroda cricket team. He played in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in season 2013-14. he made unbeaten 86 runs and played a vital role to win the tournament and he is presently playing for Baroda.

In 2015 he was picked by Mumbai Indians in IPL performed well in the tournament and in the qualifier match he smashed 21 runs off just 8 balls and caught three important catches as well against KKR Mumbai had must-win situation to reach the playoffs he made 61 runs of just 31 balls and won the man of the match award.

International Career:

Pandya first appearance for the Indian team in T20 format on 27 January 2016 against Australia picked two wickets in the matches. In his 2nd T20 match he made 27 runs off just 14 balls against Sri Lanka. He was also selected in a squad for Asia Cup 2016. He was in good form both with bat and ball he made quick 31 runs on just 18 balls helping India to win. He bowled fantastically well against Pakistan picked up 3 wickets for just 8 runs. in the final match he achieved his career against Bangladesh 4/38 runs. he played 35 matches picked up 39 wickets with 27.97 bowling average and so far the 239 runs with 14.88 batting average with the top score of 33.

Pandya made his One Day International career against New Zealand where he made 36 runs of 32 balls. He also played in ICC Champions Trophy for India. He fought well with his batting struck 43 runs off 76 balls trying to rescue India. So far he played 45 ODI matches for India made 731 runs with an average of 29.24 and took 45 wickets as well.


Pandya made his test debut against Sri Lanka on 26 July 2017. He scored his maiden Test hundred in his second match. This was his first century in international cricket in all the three formats. He played 11 matches with an average of 36.80 he made 532 matches with the help of 4 fifties and 1 hundred and 108 runs his top score in test cricket and took 17 wickets as well.
