Yuzvendra Singh Chahal Cricket

Yuzvendra Singh Chahal is an Indian cricketer represent indain in limited overs formats at international level. He is right-arm leg break spin bowler and a right handed batsman. Chahal is the permeant member of Indian cricket team in One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals. He also played Chess and represented India at the world youth chess championship.


Chahal’s Domestic Career:

Chahal started his first-class cricket in 2009 and debut for Haryana in 2009/10 season and he is still playing for Haryana at the domestic level. He played 31 first-class matches where he took 84 wickets at the average of 33.21 with best bowling figures 6/44 and two times he took five wickets in an inning while in list A cricket he played 77 matches and took 111 wickets with an average of 25.86 and three times he took 5 wicket haul with 6/24 best figures.
In 2011 IPL season he was picked by Mumbai Indians but, he got only a match to play in three season of IPL from 2011-2013 although he played for Mumbai in Champions League T20 in 2011 and got the chance to play all the matches of the League and in the final against Bangalore took 2/9 in 3 overs. In 2014 he was brought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 10 lac INR and so far he is playing for Bangalore and a key bowler for his team.

Chahal’s International Career:

Chahal made his One Day International Career back in 2016 against Zimbabwe. In his second match he earned man of the match award he took 3 wickets for only 25 runs. he played 40 matches for india took 71 wickets with 2.83 bowling average. He took two times five wicket haul in ODIs with 6/42 best bowling figures.



In T20 cricket Chahal made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2016 as well he is very good with the bowl in short format of cricket he took 6 wickets in a match against England he is the first leg spinner to do that. He took most wicket in T20 format in 2017 year he led by 23 wickets. So far he took 45 wickets in 29 matches with impressive bowling average of 19.93 and he has the record for the best bowling as a legspinner in T20I history (6/25).
