Lungisani Trueman Ngidi Cricket
Lungisani Trueman Ngidi is a South African born who plays for the South Africa national cricket team in all forms of cricket. He is a right arm fast bowler and a right-handed tail ender batsman.he is one of those who has awarded cricketer of the year award in annual dinner of South Africa cricket.
Domestic Career:
Ngidi started his domestic career for Northerns cricket team in 2015. He played for them in Africa T20 cup and he has won T20 player of the Year award. He also played for Titans in the 2016 year. In south african’s Mzansi Super League first edition he represented Tshwane Spartans in 2018. In 2018 was picked up by Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League. So far he played 13 first-class matches where he picked up 46 wickets at an average of 20.15 and he got 4 times five-wicket haul.
International Career:
He made his debut for South Africa in T20i in a series against Sri Lanka in 2017 and he was awarded man of the match award. So far he played only 7 T20s for his side and picked up 11 wickets at an average of 11.63 with the best performance of 4/19.
Ngidi made his ODI debut for Africa in 2018 against India in 2018. He could have made his ODI career earlier against Sri Lanka but due to injury, he was ruled out of the series. So far he played 13 ODI matches took 26 wickets at a bowling average of 23.03 with 4/51 best bowling figures and made just 34 runs with a top score of 19 runs not out.
In Test format, he made his first appearance against India in 2018 where he is tremendous with the bowl took 7/87 in the match. So far he played 4 test matches for Africa where he took 15 at an average of 19.53 with 1 five wickets haul in his career and his best bowling figures are 6/39 with the bat he scored just 15 runs.
