Colin Munro Cricket
Colin Munro is a South African nation born on 11 March 1987 in Durban, Natal Province. he plays for New Zealand national cricket team. He is a left-handed opening batsman and a right arm medium bowler. He is the first player who became scored three centuries in T20is. Munro played on 1 test match for New Zealand in 2013 against South Africa.
Domestic Career:
Munro played for the first time in domestic cricket for Auckland in 2006/07 season. So far he played 48 First class and 123 lists A matches for Auckland. He plays in a different league all around the world. He also played for Worcestershire in English county for one season in 2014-15 and Hampshire in 2018. He also plays in West Indies (CPL) form 2016- present for Trinbago Knight Riders. Munro also played for Sydney Sixers in BBL. He was in action for Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils in 2016 and 2018 respectively in Indian Premier League. In 2019 he played in Pakistan super league for the first time for Karachi kings.
International Career:
Munro made his debut in international cricket in 2012 against South Africa in a T20 match. He made the second fastest fifty in a T20 match against Sri Lanka in just 14 balls. This was the first fifty by any New Zealander in the T20 format. He is also the third New Zealander to made hundred in T20 format while so far he made 3 hundred in this format. So far he played 52 T20s for New Zealand he batted with the average of 33.59 and scored 1,411 runs with the help of 9 fifties and 3 hundred. He also took 4 wickets with his bowling.
In ODIs, he made his debut against South Africa in 2013. He plotted the opening slot for New Zealand but he was not up to the mark he made only 9 fifties in 51 ODI matches and hundred yet to made his top score us 87 and his batting average is 24.91 and he also took 7 wickets with his part-time medium bowling.
