Ross Taylor Cricket

Luteru Ross Poutoa Lote Taylor who is international cricket plays for New Zealand international cricketer. He is right-handed batsman usually plays in the middle order at number 4. He is back born of New Zealand cricket team batting line up in all three formats of the cricket game. He is the only New Zealand batsman to score 20 centuries in ODI format and highest century maker. He has 38 international hundreds total in number.

Domestic Career:

Taylor was selected in New Zealand’s under 19 cricket team and led the team in youth internationals tournament. he made his First-class debut for Central Districts in 2002/03 season. Taylor made massive score 290 against Australia in Tasman Trophy test series so far he played 167 FC matches where he scored 11,214 run with an average of 43.29
He played almost in every cricket league in the word. In IPL he played for four teams first he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008 he played 3 seasons for RCB. In 2011 he went to Rajasthan Royals for only one season. in 2012 he joined Delhi Daredevils. In 2013 he again changed his team and played for Pune. He also played for Victoria in KFC T20 tournament 2010 and in English county for Durham and Sussex and Nottinghamshire in 2010, 2016/17 and 2018 seasons respectively. Taylor was in action in West Indies CPL for Trinidad and Tobago in 2013/14 and for St Lucia Zouks in 2015.

International Career:

In 2006 Taylor made his first appearance in the one-day match against the west indies where he scored only 15 runs. he made his maiden ODI hundred against Sri Lanka in Napier in 2006. He also captained the New Zealand side for the first time due to the injury of Daniel Vettori just before the match where he scored 70 runs. Taylor a century in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 against Pakistan he smashed 131 runs and remained not out. In 2017 he made his 17th ODI century and became the highest ODI century getter for New Zealand. He played 218 test matches scored 8,026 runs so far with an average of 48.34 with a top score of 181 not out. 
In T20 format Taylor made his debut against Sri Lanka in December 2006. In 88 match he has only 5 fifties and he made 1,579 runs with an average of 25.88     

Taylor made his Test debut against South Africa in 2007 and scored his maiden century in a match against England after that he showed what is his he played an inning of 154 not out and 151 runs. he also captained his team in a test match against Australia where he scored his fastest test century off just 81 runs. Taylor made three back to back centuries against West Indies and he also scored a double century played an unbeaten inning of 217. So far he made 18 tests hundred and 6,727 runs in 92 test match with the best score of 290 runs at an average of 46.71.
