Aaron James Finch
Aaron James Finch is an international cricketer who plays for Australia national cricket team in all three formats of the cricket game and he is the current captain of Australia in limited overs format. He is a right-handed opening batsman aggressive batsman can hit the ball hard all around the ground and he can bowl Slow left-arm orthodox. He has the highest individual score of 172 against Zimbabwe in T20I.
Domestic Career:
Finch made his first-class debut for Victoria against Tasmania in 2009/10 season. He made his maiden century against Tasmania he scored 102 runs. he also played in Airtel Champions League T20 for Victorian Bushrangers. He also captained Victorian in the one-day cup he hits 154 runs against Queensland. Finch also played in BBL for Melbourne Renegades in 2011 he was also named as player of the year in BBL. He represented Auckland Aces in 2012.
In IPL he played for serval teams as well. in 2010 he was picked up by Rajasthan Royals for the first time in IPL and in the 2011-12 season, he moved to Delhi Daredevils while in 2013 he played for Pune Warriors Indian only for a season. In 2014 he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad while in 2015 he moved to Mumbai Indians and in 2016-17 seasons he played for Gujarat Loins as well. he also represented Kings XI Punjab in 2018 edition. Finch has also played in English county cricket for Yorkshire county cricket team in the 2014-15 season and for Surrey county cricket club he played in 2016-18 seasons in T20 Blast tournament.
International Career:
Finch made his first appearance in T20I for Australia in 2011 against England. He holds the record of highest individual score of 156 runs of just 63 balls and made his maiden century against England. He was the No. 1 batsman in T20I. he was selected in 2016 ICC World Cup T20 as well. he is the second fastest batsman in T20I to score 1000 runs in 29 innings. In 2018 he hits his second ton in T20I he played the inning of 172 against Zimbabwe. He broke his previous record of 156 runs. so far he has played 52 T20I for Australia scored 1,671 runs at an average of 37.13 with 2 hundred and 9 fifties and the top score of 179 runs.
In ODIs, he made his debut against Sri Lanka in 2013. He got selected in 2015 ICC World Cup where he played an inning of 135 runs against England and won the man of the match award as well. in 2016 he became the joint fastest half-centurion with Simon O’Donnell against Sri Lanka. In 2017 he was named as Stand-in captain due to the back injury of the captain of Matthew Wade. In 2019 he scored 2 back to back centuries against Pakistan in UAE. He played his 100th ODI match and became 29th Australian against India. He is also named as captain of Australia in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. He played 109 scored 4,052 runs at an average of 39.33 with the help of 13 hundred and 31 fifties with a top score of 153 runs not out.
