Corey Anderson Cricket

Corey James Anderson is an all-round cricketer plays for New Zealand national cricket team in all three formats of cricket game. He is a left-arm medium-fast bowler and a left-handed batsman can play aggressive short. Broke the record of Shahid Afridi's fastest century he made a century on just 36 balls against west indies.

Domestic Career:

Anderson made his first-class debut for Canterbury in 2006 and remained in the squad till 2011 and he got injured and interrupted season.in 2011 he joined Northern Districts and made a comeback in domestic cricket. In 2014 he was picked by Mumbai Indians in their squad in IPL he played 3 seasons for Mumbai and went to Delhi Daredevils in 2017 and in 2018 he left Delhi and got selected by RCB. He also played for Somerset for 2 seasons from 2017-2018 in English county cricket. He also appears in PSL picked up by Lahore Qalanders in 2019 season.

International Career:

Anderson first appearance was in international cricket in a T20 format against South Africa in 2012. So far he played 31 T20 matches for New Zealand batting at the average of 24.25 scored 485 runs with the help of 2 fifties and in the bowling, he took 14 wickets at an average of 35.35 with 2/17 best bowling figures.




He made his ODI debut against England in 2013 in ICC champions trophy 2013. He broke the record of Afridi's fastest ODI hundred and holds the record for some time and later AB DE Villars broke his record. So far he played 49 ODI for his national side scored 1109 runs at the average of 27.72 with only one hundred and 4 fifties. He took 60 wickets with his bowl at an average of 25.03 with best bowling figures of 5/63.


Anderson test debut was against Bangladesh in 2013. He was not impressed with his bat in the match but he took two wickets with the bowl. He made his maiden test hundred in his second test match he played 13 Test matches scoring 683 runs at the batting average of 32.52 with one hundred and 4 fifties. His top score is 166 and with the bowl, he took 16 wicked at the average of 41.18 with 3/47 best bowling figures.
