Quinton De Kock Cricket
Quinton de Kock is an international cricketer who plays for South African national cricket team in all three formats of the game. He is a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman usually he opens the batting in shot format and plays at 6 in test format for his side. He is one of the best wicket-keeper and an aggressive batsman in the world. He is the fastest batsman to score 12 ODI hundreds in 71 innings. He also scored three consecutive centuries in ODI format.
Domestic Career:
De-Kock started his domestic career 2012/13 debut for Highveld Loins. He also played for Gauteng and in 2015 he joined Titans. He was selected for the South African under-19 team and in 2012 played ICC U-19 World cup. He plays in different leagues in the world. In 2013 he played Ram Slam T20 league domestic tournament for Highveld Loins he looks good in the tournament to take his team to the final. He played the inning of 126 runs in the tournament. In 2013 he was sold out for $20,000 in IPL bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad he was not impressive in the tournament. He played only one season for Hyderabad and he joined Delhi in 2014 he remained in their squad till 2017. In 2018 he was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore and in 2019 he is playing up by Mumbai Indians. He was also the part Cape Town Blitz in the first edition of Mzansi Super League.
International Career:
De Kock first appearance for South Africa in a T20 format where he debuts against New Zealand cricket team he was unbeaten in the match made 28 runs off 23 balls he also took 2 catches behind the stumps. In 2014 he was brilliant in the series against Australia although his team was on losing side he was awarded man of the series award. So far he played 36 T20i Scored 887 runs at an average of 27.72 s with the help of 2 fifties only.
In test cricket de Kock made his debut for South Africa against Australia scored only 7 runs in the first inning and 34 in the second inning early he was not so good with the bat but, later he scored his maiden hundred against England in the 4th test match of the series scored 129 runs and remained unbeaten. In 2019 against Pakistan he made again 129 runs. he played 40 test matches scoring 2398 at an average of 39.3 with the help of 4 test hundreds and 17 fifties.
In ODI format de Kock made his debut against New Zealand in 2013. he is one of the most success full wicketkeeper-batsman in the world against Pakistan he scored his maiden hundred in Abu Dhabi where he scored 112 runs off 135 balls after that against India he made three consecutive centuries he played innings of 135, 106 and 101 runs and involved 194 runs partnership with Hashim Amla and he was the man of the series. He became the highest runs scorer in 3 matches bilateral ODI series. In 2014 he became the fastest joint batsman to score 1000 runs in ODIs in just 21 innings. So far he played 106 ODI matches for his side scored 4602 runs with the best score of 178 at an average of 45.6 with the help of 14 centuries and 21 fifties.
