Oshane Thomas


Oshane Thomas is a Jamaican Cricketer who plays for West Indies national cricket team.He is A left-handed batsman and a Right-arm fast bowler.His highest score in First-class cricket was 43 and he scored 31 highest score in List A matches.He took 15 wickets in One Day International matches and 14 in List A matches.He took 5 wickets in innings in ODI matches.In October 2018 he made his International debut for the West Indies team.

Domestic Career:

On 18 November 2016, he made his first-class debut in the 2016-17 Regional Four Day Competition. In the 2016 CPL season, he participated as part of Jamaica  Tallawahs in two games. He remains part of the team for the 2017 edition. On February 2018 he made his List A debut for Jamaica in the 2017-18 Regional Super50.He was part of squad of the Rangpur Riders in October 2018 and following the draft for the 2018-19 Bangladesh Premier League.For the 2019 Indian Premier League he was purchased by the Rajasthan  Royals in December 2018.ICC selected him as one of eight players for the 2019 Indian Premier League tournament.

International Career:

For One Day International  he was part of team of West Indies team in October 2018 against India.He remained part of the squad against India for Twenty20 International.On 21 October 2018, he made his ODI debut for West Indies against India.He took his first international wicket of Shikhar Dhawan.
On 4 November 2014, he made his T20I debut for West Indies against India and took wickets of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.He was considered as part of team as a cover for Alzarri Joseph for the Test Squad against England in January  2019 but he didn’t play in that series.He took his first-five haul in ODI series in March 2019 against England.He was selected as part of West Indies squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019.
