Abu Jayed Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi The cricketer who plays for Sylhet Divisione he is a Right-hand batsman and a Right-arm
medium Fast bowler. In February 2018 he started his International Debut for the
Bangladeshi cricket team. He was selected for One Day International Squad for
the 2019 Cricket World Cup in 2019.Domestic Career:
In National Cricket League tournament he
was the topper wicket taker in 2016-17. For Bangladesh Premier League he was
selected for the Chittagong Vikings team in October 2018. In thirteen matches he
was the leading wicket-taker for the team with eighteen dismissals. For
Bangladesh Cricket League 2018-19 he was the prominent wicket-taker for East
Zone with twenty dismissals in five matches.
International Career:
He was selected for Bangladesh’s Twenty20
International squad against Sri Lanka in February 2018. On February 2018 he made
his T20 debut for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka. He was selected for Bangladesh’s
Test Squad against the West Indies in June 2018. On 4th July 2018, he
made his test debut for Bangladesh against West Indies. For Asia Cup 2018 in
August 2018 he was one of the twelve debutants to be selected for a 31-man
qualifying players for Bangladesh.
