Mohammad Mithun

Mohammad Mithun is from Bangladeshi Cricket team. He is Right-handed batsman and Right arm medium fast bowler. He also plays the role of wicket-keeper, opening batsman and top-order batsman in matches. In 2006-07 he made his debut for Sylhet Division. Against Dhaka Division he scored 26 runs. In the Bangladesh Premier League, he plays for Rangpur Riders. In November 2018 he made his Test Cricket debut for the Bangladesh Cricket team. 

Domestic Career: 

In November 2006 he made his first-class debut for Sylhet Division. In 2008/09  he topped for his team with 285 runs. For Barisal Burners, he also played in the Bangladesh Premier League. He also played for Khulna Division(2009), Khulna Royal Bengals 2013  Bangladesh Premier League. In October 2018 he was selected for the Rangpur Riders of Bangladesh Premier League.

International Career:

He was selected for T20 World Cup due to his hard-hitting quality batsman. In February 2014 in the two-match T20 series against Sri Lanka, he was selected as replacement of Mushfiqur Rahim as a wicket-keeper. He remained part of World T20 squad till 2009, later on, he was called for One Day International squad for the three-match series against India in June. He made his ODI debut and scored  26 runs.

He was called for Bangladesh ‘s Test squad for their series against Zimbabwe in October 2018. On November 11,2018 he made his debut for Bangladesh against Zimbabwe. After playing 88 matches he became most qualified first-class cricketer from Bangladesh.
Due to his marvelous performances in April 2019, he was selected for 2019 Cricket World Cup of Bangladesh team.
