Jason Paul Behrendorff


Jason Paul Behrendorff is an international cricketer who represents Australia cricket team in limited overs format. He is a left-arm fast medium bowler and a right handed batsman.  he has a very short international career for Australia although he plays in Indian Primer League in 2018 season and Big Bash League in 2012.


Domestic Career:

Behrendorff started his debut for Western Australia in 2011 in Ryobi One-Day Cup against Tasmania, he dismissed Mark Cosgrove in the first ball of the match. He took 13 wickets in the tournament in five matches. He has won Future legend award as well. in Sheffield Shield tournament he played his match against Victoria in 2012 where took 4/29 and 3/24 in first and second inning respectively. He also played Australian Capital Territory at U-19 level. He also represented Prime Minister’s XI in a match against New Zealand in 2009. In 2017 he took 9/37 in a first-class match against Victoria. In BPL he played for Perth Scorchers he took 3/44 against Melbourne Renegades in his first match of BPL. In 2014-15 edition he took 15 wickets in 10 matches. In 2018 he was picked up Mumbai Indians as well.  

International Career:

Behrendorff made his T20 debut against India in 2017 and in ODIs he made his debut against India where he took 2 wickets in the match. So far he played 6 ODIs match took 7 wickets at an average of 41.42 with bets bowling figure of 3/63 and in T20s he played 7 matches at the average of 16.71 with best bowling figure 4/21. He is also a part of 2019 ICC World Cup.
