Kagiso Rabada Cricket

Kagiso Rabada is an international cricketer who represents South Africa national cricket team in all form of cricket. He is a right arm fast bowler and a left-handed batsman. in 2018 he is number 1 fast bowler in ODI and Test format in ICC rankings. He also became the youngest fast bowler to take 150 wickets in test cricket at the age of 23 years and 50 days. He has won six awards at annual dinner of South African cricket including Prize cricketer of the year as also won ODI and Test cricketer of the years as well.

Domestic Career:

Rabada made his debut in a domestic career in 2013/14 for Gauteng Cricket team in CSA Provincial One Day Competition against Border cricket team. He was selected for South African Under-19 cricket team in 2014 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup where he took 14 wickets in the tournament at the economy rate of 3.10 with best bowling figures of 6/25 against Australia in the tournament. He also made a deal with Kent County Club in English county cricket. He also played for Delhi Daredevils in 2017 – present IPL season. In 2018 Mzansi Super League first edition he was picked up by Jozi Stas.

International Career:

Rabada first appears for South Africa was in T20I against Australia in 2014. While in ODIs he made his debut for his side against Bangladesh in 2015 took his best bowling figures 6/16 and also took hat-trick became the second player to achieve this. Against India, in 4/39 with this performance, he became the number 1 ICC ranked bowler. So far he played 18 T20s and 64 ODIs he took 24 and 102 wickets with at an average of 22.62 and 26.80 in both shot format of the cricket respectively with the help of on 5 wicket haul in ODIs in 2019 he took his 100th ODI wicket against Sri Lanka.


In the longer format of the cricket, he made his debut against India in 2015. In a match against England, he became the youngest player of his country to take 13 wickets in a match where he took two five-wicket hauls in a match with best bowling figures of 7/112. In 2017 in a match against Sri Lanka he took his second ten-wicket haul. in 2018 against India he took 3/34 and 2/41 in the first and second inning with that performance he became number 1 ICC Test bowler. He also took 11 wickets in a match against Australia.in 2018 year he dismissed 52 batsmen that are most by any bowler in Test matches.
